The K470 offers:

• More than two dozen standard sizes
• Cast-aluminum stacking corners and three fully-welded aluminum profile frames reinforce the case and withhold over 2,000 pounds of stacked weight
• Riveted joints, beading all round and corner beads for additional dimensional stability
• IP 54 standard, IP 65 class protection against water jets available
• Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee certification
• Various configurations for protection, including both standard and custom foam liners and KōR VRS^® Protection System
• Secure snap fasteners are tested to withstand over 20,000 opens and closes which may be secured with a plug lock, lead seals, spring anti-opening feature, or a padlock (max. shackle thickness 6 mm)

• Lid with stainless steel hinge, two lid straps, and continuous polyurethane seal

Foam Options
We utilize only the highest quality industrial-grade extruded polyethylene foam. Our chosen foam is strong, lightweight, resilient, flexible, and water-resistant. A medium density closed cell product, it is ideally suited for shock absorption, vibration dampening, insulating, and general cushioning. 100% recyclable, the foam is free of CFC and HCFC compounds. All foam parts for Zarges cases are cut on a high-precision CNC waterjet to ensure an exacting fit.

KōR Vacuum Rigidized System (VRS^®)
VRS^® (Vacuum Rigidizing Structure) technology shields valuable assets by encapsulating contents so that movement does not occur during transport. VRS^® will also absorb impact or vibration energy, further protecting your gear while also reducing weight by 40% and tripling interior volume when compared to foam. The KōR option for the 40564 case comes with single VRS^® panels and a KōR pump.

Zarges sets the standard for protection, but our custom and DIY foam options ensure your cargo's security, no matter the conditions.

DIY Foam Layer

Our ½” thick black/gray polyethylene foam lines all six interior surfaces of the case to provide an additional layer of protection. Installation is simple: just follow our DIY instructions

Foam Liner, Installed

Our ½” thick black/gray polyethylene foam lines all six interior surfaces of the case to provide an additional layer of protection. Our installation team will carefully place each panel. Please allow an additional three days for installation.

Foam Fill, DIY

Customize your foam liner and snugly protect your most sensitive items with layers of black/gray polyethylene foam. It is simple to install the foam and create custom cavities for your cargo. Learn more about installation here.

Fully Custom Foam

Our experts will work with you to craft a completely bespoke case for your most delicate possessions. The Custom Foam Package includes:

• Collaboration with a Zarges design engineer to develop a solution for your needs. Up to six custom cavities in a single layer of foam are included. Additional cavities or trays may be quoted.
• Receive a 3D rendering of your custom interior, and a physical foam sample to ensure the design is exactly how you want it.
• Following your review of the sample, Zarges will implement one modification to the design. Additional modifications may require a separate estimate.
• Custom name plate.

Exterior Security Options

You can secure the case either by using a ¼” (or less) shackle lock on the latch hasp or by utilizing the integrated lock option. Please refer to the security accessories section for more details.
