A great revival for our client of an industrial style set of drawers. Originally a solid rimu set of drawers with sentimental value, our client wanted to use the piece as more of a feature piece in her home. Hand Painted in Graphite, detailed in dark wax,  then washed with French linen with clear wax , then washed again with a blend of paris grey and graphite, detailed again in dark and clear wax, creating a gorgeous depth of colours with pewter like finish to it. The set of drawers originally did not have handles so we fitted dark cast brass heavy vintage style handles complimenting the paint finish. A great transformation of a solid quality piece of furniture, which will now sit as a feature piece in its room.
