This is a great showcase of a factory finished piece given texture character and patina through Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan. Our client had this piece functional with great shape, but no longer fitting in with her newly decorated space. Not an antique but a new piece in the wrong colour and finish. Using our clients wall paper as inspiration we have hand painted the piece in Olive, creating texture with Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan and then detailing and creating patina with both clear and dark wax. The edges and hardware have been gilded using Annie Sloan gold gilding wax with brown wax over the top to create an aged gold.
