A piece purchased through the TR Antiques range has been given a "Taylored Revival" for our client, revived to specifically fit into our clients french rustic style dining room.

Drawing colour from the room, we have painted the internals in Paris Grey finished with clear wax, a colour that we had previously used on our clients sideboard which also sits in the room across the way, allowing the two pieces to have connection even though they are completely different in colour and finish on the outside. The externals have been hand painted with a textured finish in  Aubusson Blue, Aubusson mixed with Florence and Aubusson mixed with Graphite, layered over each other then distressed back to show variations of the Aubusson blue. The entire piece has then been pulled together through clear, black and brown wax giving the colour a richness, depth and creating a beautiful age and patina at the same time. The edges and detailing have been enhanced and brought out with Gold and silver gilding wax mixed together.  A beautifully revived and bespoke piece of history that now will sit perfectly in our clients dining room.
